The Owner of the striking 86m (282’) mega yacht KINGDOM 5KR, Saudi Arabia’s Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, has announced that he will donate all of his $32 billion fortune to charity. His billions are expected to go to his organisation, Alwaleed Philanthropies, and to be used to support communities in need.
Prince Alwaleed bin Talal owns luxury motor yacht KINGDOM 5KR, originally launched by the Italian shipyard Benetti in 1980 to a design by Luigi Sturchio, with last refit in 1993. The 1,768GT, Saudi Arabia-flagged displacement vessel can sleep up to 22 guests in utmost in luxury.
Prince Alwaleed bin Talal represents one of the wealthiest people in the world, ranked at number 34 on Forbes’ list of the world’s billionaires. His company, Kingdom Holdings, owns stakes in Disney, Apple, Twitter, GM, News Corp, 21st Century Fox, and hotel groups, including the The Four Seasons, Raffles and Fairmont.
