Famous Hollywood actors, Leonardo DiCaprio and Juliette Lewis, were spotted during the 68th annual Cannes Film Festival, while sunbathing aboard the impressive 138-metre mega yacht RISING SUN. Built by Lurssen for Larry Ellison, co-founder and CEO of Oracle, the 2004-launched luxury motor yacht RISING SUN currently represents the 11th largest superyacht in the world.
Superyacht RISING SUN by Lurssen has been superbly designed by Jon Bannenberg, with interior design by Laura Seccombe. Spanning over five breath-taking decks, she boasts 8,000 square metres of living space. Among the many luxury amenities aboard this striking vessel belongs a gym, a cinema, an extensive wine cellar and basketball court, as well as accommodation for 16 in the owner’s party.
Leonardo Wilhelm DiCaprio, 41, is an American actor and film producer. In 1997, DiCaprio starred in James Cameron’s Titanic as twenty-year-old Jack Dawson. The film transformed DiCaprio into a commercial movie superstar. So far, he has been nominated for ten Golden Globe Awards, winning two, and five Academy Awards.
Juliette L. Lewis, 42, is an American actress and singer. She became famous for her role in Martin Scorsese’s 1991 remake of the thriller Cape Fear for which she was nominated for both an Academy Award and Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress.
