Costing a total of 100 million euros, Steve Jobs’ mega yacht VENUS was spotted off the coast of Samos in Greece, where this legendary vessel arrived on Saturday morning, July 25, 2015. The breath-taking 79-metre superyacht VENUS was built by Feadship to a design by Philippe Starck in 2012.
Named after the Roman goddess, luxury yacht VENUS boasts sleek and minimalist exterior lines, with naval architecture by De Voogt Naval Architects. She offers deluxe accommodation to up to 12 guests and a crew of 22 members, and among her many remarkable features belong seven 27-inch iMac computers.
Billionaire and Apple founder, Steven Paul “Steve” Jobs ( February 24, 1955 – October 5, 2011) couldn’t see the striking VENUS afloat since he passed away in 2011 due to cancer. He was an American pioneer of the personal computer revolution of the 1970s. Shortly after his death, Jobs’ official biographer, Walter Isaacson described him as the “creative entrepreneur whose passion for perfection and ferocious drive revolutionized six industries: personal computers, animated movies, music, phones, tablet computing, and digital publishing.”
